These itineraries are designed with families in mind or those keen to experience the jungle without too much exertion. A great opportunity for kids to learn about the flora and fauna of the National Park whilst having lots of jungle fun.
It is proven that exposure to nature is beneficial to the mental and physical health of children and adults. A family jungle adventure provides a chance to create memories and have fun as a family. A rare opportunity to break free from TVs, computers, play stations and all the technology which dominates so much of our time in the modern world. Let your family get back to nature and simple pleasures!
Safety is of the utmost importance where children are concerned, so we provide extra guides for any trekking activities. We will also advise you on what activities might be suitable or age appropriate for your family.
It is possible to not trek a long distance before getting to a beautiful location in this area. This could be just for a picnic by the river or to camp overnight. If little legs get tired, we have a few back pack child carriers that can be used by an adult in your group or one of our guides if older legs are also tired!
We have tested out most of the activities and locations on our own young family. Please feel free to contact us for advice on travelling to this region with a family. Our guides have a proven track record with kids and are great at keeping kids entertained. They are also happy to pass on their knowledge of the jungle, plus some jungle skills.
Depending upon the age of the children we can include a night or 2 camping or possibly some river tubing or white water rafting for older kids. Just let us know your requirements and the ages of the children and we will put something together for you.
